Task 1- Stream Flow Monitoring and Stream Gage Maintenance, per FERC License 5264 Article 103 Stream Flow Monitoring Plan • Contractor shall service streams gauges at the diversion and powerhouse every 8 weeks and assure they are operating and recording according to USGS standards and in accordance with the Stream Flow Monitoring Plan. • Contractor will survey in-stream flow along transects established at the diversion and the powerhouse every 8 weeks to calibrate the discharge rating curves for the Oak Grove Fork of the Clackamas River. Contractor will provide gage calibration data (e.g., discharge, rating curves, rating shift tables) Updated calibration tables will be supplied to EWEB within 60 days after each calibration iteration. • Contractor will be provided digital flow records from EWEB on a quarterly basis. Upon receipt, contractor will conduct Quality Control of quarterly flow records to find and correct any anomalous records. Paper chart data will be used to correct the anomalies. The new records will be added to the existing continuous record in Excel format. • Within three months of receipt of the initial digital flow records, the contractor will electronically submit updated records to EWEB. • Contractor will prepare summary tables of gauge records for inclusion in the development of a semi-annual Stone Creek Project Section 103 and Fish Screen Maintenance Compliance Report. • Contractor shall prepare and submit to EWEB a semi-annual Stone Creek Project Article 103 and Fish Screen Maintenance Compliance Report (for January – June, and July –December), within two months of the end of the 6-month period, e.g., no later than September 1 for the report for the period of January 1 through June 30. Task 2) Fish Screen Maintenance and Cleaning Records • EWEB will provide Contractor with digital copies of the Stone Creek Debris Removal Reports on a quarterly basis. Contractor will examine the records, and note any compliance concerns (e.g., a high percent of screen occluded with debris prior to cleaning). • Contractor shall prepare a summary table of the screen maintenance and cleaning activities for inclusion in the semi-annual Stone Creek Project Article 103 and Fish Screen Maintenance Compliance Report. Task 3) Project Management/Administration. Activities associated with project management, administration, client communications, and contracting/invoicing Task 4) Other related work. From time to time additional work related to stream flow monitoring and associated License compliance items may be necessary. If substantial work beyond the baseline compliance support is required within the Contract period, these tasks will be incorporated and funded by amendment to this contract.
