Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. The Oregon Department of Corrections’ (ODOC) is implementing a Drone Scanner pilot project (the “Project”) that aims to enhance perimeter security by automatically detecting and alerting staff of unauthorized drones. Currently, detection is inconsistent and relies on limited visual/radar tech; A Drone Scanner will provide more reliable, real-time solution. Drone Scanners are advanced drone detection and tracking systems that leverage AIpowered computer vision and RF (Radio Frequency) analytics to identify, classify, and respond to unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) threats. Drone Scanners combines real-time object recognition, trajectory prediction, and sensor fusion to provide comprehensive airspace awareness.
