Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City IT Department’s security system is divided into two main categories: the Lenel integrated electronic card reader access system, and an integrated video camera surveillance system. The security system is comprised of 370 cameras, 312 readers, 11 LNVR/HVR/DVRs / Milestone Servers, 79 panic buttons, 58 alarms, and 2 credentialing stations. These quantities may grow or be reduced during the timeframe for the resulting contract from this RFP. A. Lenel and Milestone Integrated Electronic Card Reader Access System: The City IT Department is requesting proposals to provide maintenance and annual access control software support for the existing Lenel and Milestone integrated electronic card reader access system. Typical Maintenance Services Required for Electronic Card Reader Access System: • Access control doors (readers, REX, door contacts and electronic locking hardware) • Alarm inputs (door contacts, panic switches) • Present card; verify unlock without alarm • Enter space, exit door-verify no alarm • Verify lock functionality- ensure locks work properly and are adjusted properly by testing of all applicable functions of each door (door forced, door held open, access granted, access denied, request to exit, shunt functions)
