Excavation and installation of a gravity force main to convey leachate effluent from the existing leachate loadout area at the Roseburg Landfill down McLain West Ave to a termination point east of the existing sidewalk; and excavation and installation of a non-potable water line extending from the current service at 102 Chewaucan Lane to the existing pipe stub-outs adjacent to the leachate treatment plant, as outlined below: North of Interstate 5 - The 3-inch diameter force main work is to start at the tie-in point to the existing 6-inch/3-inch dual containment effluent force main and extend approximately 1,920 linear feet along Landfill Rd./McLain West Ave. to the centerline of the Interstate 5, exit 121 overpass. A 3-inch diameter potable waterline will also be extended approximately 1,800 linear feet north along Landfill Rd./McLain West Ave starting at Chewaucan Lane and terminating near the driveway to Douglas County’s new leachate treatment facility.
