The assessment of Lane Transit District’s Fixed Route Bus Stops provides an Evaluation of the existing compliance, of ADA standards and regulations, along with identifying feasibility of ADA compliance, implementation, and cost estimates to achieve compliance for non-compliant findings. The services must allow for ADA Compliance including but not limited to: • Consultant/Engineer to assess/evaluate all fixed route bus stops, identify stops that are non-compliant with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), identify necessary improvements for ADA compliance and identify estimated right-of-way that exists behind the curb to help determine feasibility of implementation • Consultant to provide feasibility and construction cost estimate for ADA improvement implementation at each non-compliant stop based on existing site conditions • Consultant to propose implementation plan for design and construction based on feasibility in a phased approach • Consultant to identify any inconsistencies of amenities at fixed route bus stops currently shown in LTD’s Fixed Route Bus Stop List, Exhibit B. • Consultant to assess how flagpole signs are incorporated and positioned at all Fixed Route Bus Stops, noting inconsistencies and establishing a recommendation for improved consistency. • Consultant to perform condition assessment of paint, pavement, shelter structure/roof and lighting at each fixed route bus stop
