Specifications include, but are not limited to: Reengaging youth who leave high school before earning a diploma or completing a GED through outreach, reconnection with educational programming, and supports to aid retention. Delivery of specialized educational services that lead to high school graduation and completion for reengaged youth, in order to increase the number of graduates and completers. Providing innovative, trauma-informed, cross-sector programming that meets youth where they are at by providing education, training, coaching, and supports that meet each young person’s individual needs, and supporting the identification and achievement of their educational and career goals. Building collaboration and connections between schools and educational agencies, nonprofits, community based organizations, social service agencies, local government, and other youth serving entities, in order to reduce disconnection and create opportunities and positive outcomes for reengaged youth.
