Specifications include, but are not limited to: Patrol presence: Walk through campgrounds, picnic areas, riverfronts, and other park areas to show enforcement presence and look for public safety issues or rule violations. This includes conducting voluntary cooler checks with park visitors to screen for alcohol per County Park Ordinance. • Rule Enforcement: Respond to violations of park rules or other applicable laws with educational efforts, citations, exclusions, calls to local Law Enforcement, or other actions consistent with county policies, patrol procedures, and Department of Public Safety Standards Training (“DPSST”). This includes parking fee enforcement and issuance of citations to vehicles failing to display the required parking permit.
