Specifications include, but are not limited to: Security officers will provide a visible uniform presence at the designated facilities in order to deter crime and enhance safety and order in the area. Proposer’s uniforms will include nametags, duty belts (if applicable) and patches which clearly identify the Proposer's company. Uniforms will be of a consistent color, appearance and in good condition. Proposer will also supply the following equipment: Cellular phones, electronic guard tour devices (e.g., Secure Trax, Tour Trax, GuardTrax, or similar), flashlights, personal protective equipment (PPE), and personal defense items approved by University. 2.4.2. Duties of security officers include access control, CCTV monitoring, interior and exterior roaming patrols, front desk duty, and other basic security functions as needed. Security officers will not be deputized or sworn and will not have citation authority. 2.4.3.
