Specifications include, but are not limited to: •Spend time walking around Central, downtown Beaverton at a minimum of three times a week•Proactively connect with unsheltered individuals in Beaverton, targeting those that havethe most significant barriers and the longest lengths of homelessness and delivering housingnavigation services•Participate in the coordinated entry system, including documenting each of the streetoutreach contacts and housing placements in HMIS or the by-name list•Attend the biweekly coordinated street outreach meetings held by Community Action•Collaborate with the Washington County encampments program to resource identifiedencampments located in Beaverton and engage individuals in housing placement•Provide emergency outreach to individuals during severe weather (hot/cold)and direct referral to inclement weather shelters when activated by WashingtonCounty SHS•Train and supervise outreach team with practices in trauma-informed care, motivationalinterviewing, harm reduction, crisis intervention and de-escalation, racial equity, and othertopics as relevant•Connect with service providers, agencies, and businesses in Central Beaverton includingthe following: Beaverton City Library, Beaverton Police Bike Team, Beaverton DowntownAssociation, Beaverton Winter Shelter/Safe Parking Program (Just Compassion)
