The Oregon Legislative Administration (LA) acting by and through the Legislative Administrator is issuing a Request for Proposal for a consultant, firm or team to develop and enhance the visitor experience by helping the Oregon State Capitol improve its retail operations. Space in the Capitol is at a premium and pressure will continue on all of Legislative Administration's operations to work together seamlessly. Any analysis of the retail operations would include the following top-level goals: 1. Identify the retail operations' core functions. 2. Identify the potential business models that would align with the Gateway visitor experience, branding, mission, goals and History Gateway programming. 3. Review and identify potential opportunities to generate retail activity and sales. 4. Review current and potential supply and distribution channels.
