A general outline of the scope of work is outlined in this section. It is expected that proposals will provide a framework and process for developing a comprehensive plan to communicate with Albany’s residents about the condition of the city’s streets. Education and Public Outreach Strategy. Contractor shall develop a comprehensive Education and Public Outreach and Engagement Strategy. • Develop a public information messaging strategy for outreach and education to residents through, but not limited to, press release templates, direct mail templates, print advertising guidance, social media content, and digital collateral materials. • Informational and educational materials that provide factual information that can be implemented by City staff, Council, commission members, or community stakeholders. • Design, advertise, and conduct up to three (3) outreach meetings to engage the public and solicit feedback. • Facilitate community group meetings in coordination with City staff. • Develop talking points and FAQs messaging. • Messaging for up to two mailers and other public information materials. • Informational and educational materials shall be provided in both English and Spanish. • Ensure all printed materials use plain language, and utilize accessibility best practices including, but not limited to, considerations for low-vision, color blindness, and dyslexia. • Ensure all online materials are fully accessible in compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA Standards. • Ensure all materials use City of Albany branding, including logo, colors, and fonts.
