SAMTD has reviewed the California contract, and solicitation. SAMTD has verified that the statement of work meets the requirements of SAMTD. 3. SAMTD intends to piggyback off the California Department of General Services Contract #5- 24-70-4203 for General Transit Feed Specifications Realtime Services. Factors considered by SAMTD are the cost of conducting this type of RFP would cost the agency an estimated $275,000+, SAMTD does not currently have the resources internally to manage the resultant contract, and with the emergency need. This is a cost and time saving opportunity for SAMTD.
