Schedule A - Work scope includes general repair, adjustment of existing or new backside service utilizing the open trench method, per the City of Portland 2020 Standard Construction Special Specifications Section 00405 and Trench Excavation, Bedding and Backfill & Section 01171 - Potable Water Service Connections, 4 Inches and Smaller. Work includes excavation; removal, adjustment, transfer of a service from an old meter to a new meter, to new backside service, or to a structure; repair and/or replacement of damaged section of backside service, fitting(s), trench backfill using imported material, surface restoration (includes topsoil) and clean up. Open trenching exceeding five linear feet in any direction will revert to Schedule B. Work shall also include any required electrical work in support of the plumbing permit. Schedule B - Work scope includes abandonment of the existing backside service alignment in place, and installation of new backside alignment utilizing the open trench method, per the City of Portland Standard Construction Special Specifications Sections 00405 – Trench Excavation, Bedding and Backfill & Section 01171 - Potable Water Service Connections, 4 Inches and Smaller. Work includes excavation; installation of new backside service in alternate location, trench backfill using imported topsoil or as approved by the City representative, surface restoration and clean up. Schedule C - work scope includes abandonment of existing backside plumbing service alignment in place, and installation of a new backside alignment using the trenchless method of directional boring per the City of Portland Standard Construction Special Specifications Section 00407 – Horizontal Directional Drilling. Work also includes excavation of the boring pit(s) and any removal, adjustment, repair and/or replacement of existing section of pipe, fitting(s), and/or plumbing device(s), trench backfill for boring pit(s) shall use imported topsoil or as approved by the City representative, surface restoration and clean up. The records shall include Excavation Records and Control as specified in Section 00407.40 & 00407.41 for all boring, regardless of method.
