Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Media Buying – o Marketing – begin the process of determining best placement and budget for digital ads to promote the Portland Expo Center’s upcoming events and work with existing Expo Center clients to determine their marketing for alignment and mutual benefit. o Positioning – Determine the best placement, pricing and potential medias (such as Pamplin Media, Portland Monthly, etc.) for positioning the Expo Center as a premier location and facility. Continue researching the best mediums for the Expo Center. • Social Media – o Weekly and monthly work: Create memes, posts, calendars, events and help manage social media with the Expo Sales & Marketing Manager for maximum use and determine an overall strategy, posting schedule and messaging. Help grow social following on multiple platforms in order to be competitive with others in the marketplace. • Photography and Video Services – o Photography of Expo Center events and facilities on an as-needed basis to keep our promotional photos current o Videos that promote the Expo Center and our services (i.e. Food & Beverage offerings etc.). Create videos that are high-functioning, have multiple applications (social, website and sales) and allow for additional position for the Expo Center. o Drone photography/video on an as-needed basis • Graphic Design Services – o Produce promotional materials for internal and external use in multiple formats for the Expo Center on an as-needed basis. • Internally produced Expo Center events – o Help create, plan and market upcoming internally produced events at the Expo Center. Work with the Expo Sales & Marketing Manager as needed for all internally produced events to drive return on investment through attendees and sponsorships. • Advertising sales for onsite opportunities – o Create and sell advertising and sponsorship program for the Expo Center – including an inventory and sales kit for active selling. Work with Sales & Marketing Manager to establish best practices to drive sales and sponsorship revenue for the facility. Compensation will be negotiated on a percentage basis.
