The city of Tigard (City) is seeking to obtain the services of a CM/GC firm with demonstrated experience, for the preconstruction and construction of a new Police and Public Works Facility (the Project). The City intends to seek funding for construction of this new facility through a General Obligation Bond on the May 2026 ballot. Although a contract will be awarded prior to the ballot date, it will be subject to termination if the Bond does not pass. This project is the first step in the “Building a Better Tigard” campaign. This is a campaign to build a safe, modern combined facility for our Police and Public Works departments. The new facility will ensure our first responders can continue providing critical services to the community after a natural disaster, improve everyday operational efficiency, and reduce long-term costs. The site of the Project is 9.5 acres of land on SW Wall Street in Tigard. The scope of work includes supporting Scott Edwards Architecture with developing the schematic and design development documents before the bond is issued and full construction documents after the bond passes; supporting the City with cost estimating, site work, preconstruction, and construction of the buildings from groundbreaking through the warranty period.
