Specifications include, but are not limited to: In general, the City of Eugene is soliciting proposals from bonded security companies to provide security services for various areas for the City of Eugene Parks and Open Spaces Division. Services include locking and unlocking City park access gates and restrooms. The contract term will be for one year with the option for two (2) two-year extension upon mutual agreement of both parties. Contractor shall provide the full range of security services at all covered facilities that might include the following duties: a. Clear parking lots of vehicles prior to gate locking by informing patrons of park closing and gate locking. Report to Eugene Police anyone refusing to leave a closed facility or any unattended vehicles found at facility lockup. b. Physically patrol buildings, park grounds and parking facilities to observe unusual behavior and to prevent vandalism during the course of facility or gate lock/unlock. c. Enforce code of conduct rules in a friendly and courteous, yet firm manner. d. Open and close entrances to the facility. e. Report all observed fire and safety hazards. f. Accurately document issues and incidents for review by Facility designee
