1) Preparation work. To include but not limited to: A) Remove dust, dirt, and other granular surface deposits by sweeping, blowing with compressed air, rinsing with water, or a combination of these methods. B) Completely remove rubber deposits, existing loose paint chip markings, and other coatings adhering to the pavement, by scraping, wire brushing, sandblasting (not required), mechanical abrasion, or approved chemicals. C) Sandblasting: Use equipment of size and capacity necessary, providing not less than 150 cfm of air at pressure not less than 90 psi at each nozzle used. D) Power wash if necessary and allow to dry overnight or as needed. Scrape or wire brush any remaining peelings. E) Remove any weeds growing at the curbs. 2) Painting of existing parking lot lines and symbols. Only existing items will be painted unless directed by the district after receipt of a price estimate. Re-black out lines that have faded black outs. 3) Worker supervision. Work Supervisor(s) will divide time equally among work sites to insure work is being done properly and to the desired specifications of the district. 4) Site cleaning to remove any accumulation of waste and debris caused from performing the required services.
