Specifications include, but are not limited to: 4.11 GOOD(S) SPECIFICATIONS FOR: Potato dehydrated hashbrowns 4.11.1 SHREDDED MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 4.11.2 Good(s) MUST be shredded and dehydrated, resulting in a good not to exceed 9 percent moisture. 4.11.3 ODOC will accept peeled or unpeeled good. 4.11.4 Good(s) MUST be shelf stable and unseasoned. 4.11.5 Good(s) MUST NOT contain flavor enhancers such as monosodium glutamate or artificial color. 4.11.6 Good(s) MUST be prepared from clean, sound, white-fleshed potatoes. 4.11.7 Minimum pack size accepted is 10 pounds with a maximum acceptable case weight of 60 pounds. 4.11.8 Distressed or Manufactures rejects WILL NOT be allowed unless otherwise indicated in this ITB. 4.11.9 Catch weight cases WILL NOT be allowed unless otherwise indicated in this ITB. 4.12 ESTIMATED DELIVERED QUANTITY PER GOOD ITEM: 4.12.1 Potato dehydrated hashbrowns: An estimated two (2) FTL are required for this item listed in Section 5, “Pricing Page”. For purposes of this ITB Line item # an FTL is estimated at 27,000 pounds. ARO, one (1) FTL to be delivered within 30 days. Second FTL to be delivered 45 days after initial shipment until the contracted quantity of Goods(s) has been fully received and accepted by ODOC. The Purchase order issued to the awarded Bidder will indicate the delivery dates and must be confirmed with the ODOC warehouse receiving staff.
