Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of Oregon is seeking information from the marketplace regarding available Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). The current HR systems used by the State are 22 years old and do not adequately support todays business needs a centralized system that facilitates the management of employee records, position information including the breakdown of multiple funding sources, geo-location, performance appraisals, collective bargaining, leaves of absence, and supports flexible ad hoc reporting capabilities. It is the goal of the State to implement an HRIS across the entire state enterprise. Although the State is not considering an ERP, the new HRIS should not preclude the State from expanding to other ERP components over time. In order to evaluate the States options in this arena, and identify rough cost estimates, this Request for Information (RFI) is being issued. Vendors that supply software to manage the functions described in this document, or system integrators with experience implementing HRIS are encouraged to respond before the due date to help in the development of future procurement documents. System integrators are asked to provide information related to systems for which you have experience that would most closely meet Oregons needs.
