The City of Portland is seeking bids from qualified bidders with demonstrated experience in sump system testing, and inspections, and proposes to engage the successful bidder for services on an as-needed basis to provide the following: • Sump system testing including equipment and supplemental water supplies as necessary • Ancillary work required including but not limited to traffic control, health and safety, and permitting; The selected Contractor shall be expected to work closely with designated City of Portland personnel to perform the tasks described generally below. Work will be completed in accordance with the scope of work and specific instruction provided by a City Representative or designee, and a responsible person employed by the Contractor shall supervise all work. Prior to starting work, the Contractor shall communicate with the City’s Representative or designee and meet on site if requested by the City to establish a Scope of Work and schedule for the work. The extent of work typically involved may include, but is not limited to: • Sump testing at flow rates to be determined by City, using approved flows from hydrants and supplemental flows as required. • Traffic control safety
