Specifications include, but are not limited to: The successful Contractor is responsible for, but not limited to, all of the following: • Labor • Reliable vehicle(s)/transport to work sites • Staff with current Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST) Unarmed Security Professional certifications • Personal safety equipment and equipment needed to perform the Scope of Work, including, but not limited to, flashlights, cellphones, weather appropriate clothing, notepads, etc. • Clothing with clearly identifiable logos Contractor will be assigned duties on a case-by-case basis depending on the needs of LTD. These duties include, but are not limited to, foot patrol, monitoring access to LTD facilities, observing and reporting suspicious behavior, crowd management, prevention of vandalism/graffiti, fire detection/prevention, etc. The Contractor shall assign personnel for these duties that will perform their work consistently to the highest professional standard and will adhere to LTD’s directives and expectations. • Contractor shall supervise Contractor’s personnel to LTD’s satisfaction to ensure compliance with the assignment. • As a condition of this contract, the Contractor will be required to sign a letter of understanding that LTD is a tobacco and drug-free environment. Use of tobacco products or drugs/alcohol is not permitted at any LTD facility, property, station, stop, platform, bus or other LTD vehicle. • LTD will require the successful Contractor to complete an environmental checklist and to be aware of LTD’s environmental sustainability commitments. The Contractor’s employees may be required to attend training under this program, at the direction of LTD.
