Specifications include, but are not limited to: SERVICE CATEGORY 1: Consulting Arborist: 1. Meet with City Representatives, visit future project sites(s), interpret existing documents, and understand, compile and assess City’s needs and goals; 2. Understand, oversee and verify compliance with City codes. 3. Develop Arboriculture and related preliminary scopes of work and Arboricultural programming for approval by the City; 4. Prepare service schedules and service costs for the project(s) as needed; 5. Perform Arboricultural investigations and field verifications of tree resources including hazard tree assessments. SERVICE CATEGORY 2: Special Inspections: 3. Provide input into design and construction schedules, as well as service and maintenance costs for the project(s); 4. Perform site investigation, inspections, evaluation of conditions, laboratory and field testing, and verification of tests done by the construction contractor or a third party such as but not limited to: welding, compaction, sieve analysis, rebar inspection, pedestrian and bicycle bridges both “as-is” and based on construction / re-construction plans. SERVICE CATEGORY 3: Environmental Graphic Design: Provide environmental graphic design services schedules and service costs for types of work including but not limited to: a. Create unique designs for identity, directional, way finding and interpretive signage; b. Create unique designs for construction related or outreach information for a particular site or situation.
