Consultant shall evaluate the as placed slab conditions and Construction Contractor proposed investigation and mitigation plans and provide comments addressing any forensic or petrographic reports provided by Construction Contractor and provide professional advice and recommendations regarding the performance and service of the slab as required by the design and intended function. Consultant upon Owner approval shall collect a maximum of four drilled core samples from the slabs and submit them for petrographic examinations and provide Owner with the report. 2 Service: A. Consultant shall review current construction drawings, specifications and additional documents including but not limited to: a) Emails, letters, reports, and any other documents associated with slabs 1-4 b) Review Contractors’ submittals of reports and repair proposals, and any additional pertinent documents relating to the slabs c) Review concrete mix submittal and delivery tickets d) Review and comment on reports and repair proposals from Contractor e) Author letters/reports as directed by Owner and provide to Owner directly B. Consultant shall perform the following: a) Participate in conference calls with Owner and Owner’s Representative b) Respond to telephone calls and emails from Owner and Owner’s Representative c) Site Visit to Inspect/Sound Slab and provide reports d) Document surface defects and create a defect map e) Identify delaminations/blisters and other defects associated with the sound slab f) Provide petrographic report if work requested/authorized by Owner
