The Department of Consumer and Business Services, intends to award a contract to Bizware Online Application Inc., DBA Access2online; The DCBS is contracting for professional services to review online resources and to provide recommendations on meeting accessibility requirements in response to the federal rule mandate: Nondiscrimination on the Basis of Disability; Accessibility of Web Information and Services of State and Local Government Entities, DOJ 28 CFR Part 35 [CRT Docket No. 144; AG Order No. 5919-2024] RIN 1190-AA79. This includes reviewing DCBS websites, website content (such as PDF, Word documents, and spreadsheets) and web applications, and once assessed, remediating websites, documents, and applications (as appropriate) to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) AA standard for accessibility.
