Specifications include, but are not limited to: Lane Education Service District (Lane ESD) seeks Request for Proposal (RFP) quotes for Internet Services Provision (ISP services, including secondary DNS). 1.1: ISP will provide connectivity at the University of Oregon switchroom (Oregon IX). 1.2: ISP will maintain redundant upstream providers out of the University of Oregon switchroom (Oregon IX). 1.3: ISP will provide network engineering support 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. 1.4: ISP will provide network monitoring capability and notification to Lane Education Service District within one (1) hour of any disruption of service. 1.5: ISP will provide web-based bandwidth utilization reporting. 1.6: ISP will maintain peering to other educational entities in Oregon. 1.7: ISP will maintain substantial peering arrangements with Internet2’s IP Network for research and education (R&E). 1.8: ISP will provide connectivity with a total of four (4) distinct interfaces servicing Lane ESD and its component school districts: 1.8.1: Interface (a) will be a 10G fiber interface providing 5Gb of internet transit and 10Gb of peering at NWAX. ISP will provide a /17 of IPv4 address space to be routed with this interface. ISP will provide professional services to assist with current /17 to new /17 reassignment. 1.8.2: Interface (b) will be a 10G fiber interface providing 500Mb of internet transit and 10G of peering at NWAX. This interface will also provide default-free BGP peering with full IP routes. No ISP-provided IPv4 or IPv6 address space is required with this interface. 1.8.3: Interface (c) will be a 10G fiber interface providing 500Mb of internet transit and 10G of peering at NWAX. This interface will also provide default-free BGP peering with full IP routes. No ISP-provided IPv4 or IPv6 address space is required with this interface. 1.8.4: Interface (d) will be a 1G copper interface providing 100Mb of internet transit, or alternatively could share the transit limit of Interface (c). ISP will provide a /31 of IPv4 address for point-to-point connection.
