A. Provide appropriate sample containers for influent and effluent samples to be taken from the Brooks Community Service District (BCSD) wastewater system. BCSD personnel will collect these samples. B. At the request of BCSD, selected offeror shall pick up samples twice weekly during sampling season (typically November through April), or more often if required by the BCSD. All samples shall be picked up from the BCSD operations building at 8600 Richland Ave NE Salem, OR. All samples must be refrigerated. C. Perform analyses and provide test results, within eight working days of sample pickup, as requested by the BCSD. Regular tests shall include, but are not limited to, E. Coli Bacteria; BOD-5 (5-day Biochemical Oxygen Demand); and TSS (Total Suspended Solids). D. Occasional testing for additional Analytes listed in the quote table below may be requested if required by County or the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ). Testing for Hg (Mercury); PCBs (Polychlorinated biphenyls); Aldrin; Dieldrin; DDE (dichlorodiphenyldichloroethylene) and DDT (dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane) are estimated to be no more than once annually. Prices for these additional tests are being requested but will not be considered for the award of a contract.
