The Scope of Work is a general description of the work components anticipated under the resulting contract. After a Proposer has been selected, Proposer and OSMB will negotiate any Proposer requested alterations to this Scope of Work and finalize any unaddressed work component details and work delivery schedules. The revised Scope of Work will become the final contract’s Statement of Work and appear as Exhibit A in the contract. 1.0 Background The Oregon State Marine Board was established in 1959 by the Oregon Legislature and is both a state agency and a policy board. OSMB serves Oregon's recreational boating public through education, enforcement, access, and environmental stewardship for a safe and enjoyable experience. Marine Law Enforcement is a key component of boating safety. The Marine Law Enforcement program is responsible for providing boating law enforcement and related services on the waters of this state, and provides a variety of public education services including school education programs.
