Specifications include, but are not limited to: The existing Washington County LEC/Jail consists of (10) ten Housing Area Pods (including the Medical Area), Master Control, Booking/Intake Area, Central Facilities, Sheriff’s and Jail Administration Areas and Courts Area. The majority of the existing security electronic systems have been in place since the original construction of the facility, which was completed in 1998. It is the intent of this RFP to replace, upgrade and modernize the existing facility “Electronic Security Systems” (ESS) to current technology standards within the industry by means of upgrading the existing electronic security systems control and “head-end” components to a new, fullyintegrated, fully functional ESS platform; utilizing the following systems: • Electronic Control Systems (ECS) o Touchscreen Control System (TCS) – Video Graphical User Interface (VGUI) o Programmable Logic Control (PLC) System o Door Control • Detention Communications Systems o Intercom System o Public Address System • Personal Duress Alarm System (PDAS) • Access Control System (ACS) • Video Surveillance System (VSS) • Uninterruptible Power System (UPS) • Water / Utility Control System
