Mid-Columbia Economic Development District (MCEDD), operator of The Link public transportation system, is seeking quotes from qualified construction firms for the installation of: • Twelve (12) bus stop poles with passenger seats attached (see https://simmeseat.com/) • Two (2) Ford Pro AC electric vehicle chargers The project is divided into two parts. Contractors may submit quotes for either one or both parts of the project. Part I MCEDD has purchased twelve (12) bus stop poles with Simme Seats at locations around the City of The Dalles, OR. The installation will be able to utilize existing paving, and some may require concrete work. See General Installation Instructions for additional details. The project will include: 1. Providing final design site layout. 2. Move equipment to and from sites. 3. Excavate sites for ADA compliant concrete pad where required. 4. Place new ADA compliant concrete where required. 5. Assemble and install MCEDD-provided bus stop poles with Simme Seats. See attached instructions. The budget is approximately $20,160 and construction must be completed by June 30, 2026. Part II Install two (2) Ford Pro AC Chargers provided by MCEDD at 802 Chenowith Loop Road, The Dalles, OR. The project will include: 1. Providing final design site layout. 2. Excavate for conduit to supply new power to bus barn area. 3. Prepare sites for new concrete where required. 4. Installation of two electric chargers.
