Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Oregon Department of Transportation, Fleet Operations and Services has an ongoing need to establish a statewide, long term, multiple vendor, Price Agreement that can be utilized for the purchase of 4X4 industrial loader with integral, hydraulically extendable backhoe with factory installed hydraulic thumb and plumbed for additional equipment, including but not limited to a breaker/hammer, compactor or auger with “pin grabber” style coupler. Loader must be equipped with a CATERPILLAR, category 1 compatible IT style quick coupler on the front end, plumbed with an additional auxiliary hydraulic circuit for use with a 4 in 1 bucket or grapple rake. Unit must also be equipped with “ride control”. The Loader/Backhoes will be used statewide at elevations from near sea level to 8000 feet ASL, and in all weather conditions. The units must remain operational under these conditions. These units shall be equipped, configured and used for highway maintenance operations. But not limited to, performance in such applications such as; asphalt patching, ditch cleaning, highway shoulder work, slide removal, snow removal operations, loading of “sanding” and “anti-icing” materials, miscellaneous maintenance activities
