• This project will include a comprehensive geospatial data analysis of walking and biking conditions near all LTD transit stops within Eugene and a small subset of high-priority school bus stops. The successful consultant team will use existing City of Eugene GIS data on various roadway features and assets. This data would include sidewalks, bike facilities, ADA curb ramps, overhead street lighting, location of the nearest crosswalk and crosswalk type, and speed limits within a ¼ mile buffer of these bus stops. Additional City and LTD data inputs may be considered depending on availability and refinement of the scope with the successful consultant team. These inputs will be used to create an inventory of infrastructure gaps and bicycle/pedestrian level of stress in transit stop areas. • In addition to infrastructure data analysis, the project will include data analysis of all bicycle and pedestrian-involved collisions near transit stops to help the City and LTD better understand where riders have historically encountered the worst safety challenges during their first and last-mile trips. This crash data analysis will allow the project team to create a ranked list of transit stops by their crash history and better understand what roadway features and driver behaviors are most correlated with pedestrian and bicycle crashes near bus stops...
