The City desires to enter into a professional services agreement with a qualified individual or firm who can demonstrate competency and experience in managing the adopted watershed stewardship management plan including management of the watershed. The scope of work for the requested services includes the following: The City desires the selected firm or individual to implement the current watershed management plan for the timber harvests of 2026 and 2027. The City owns approximately 4,300 acres in the Coast Range knownas the Forest Grove Watershed. The Watershed Stewardship Management Plan is a policy oriented, conceptual framework for managing the City's watershed, including the streams, riparian woods and upland forest. The Plan serves as a vehicle for the assessment of the Watershed's ecosystem condition and health. The Plan articulates a future vision of the Watershed, with specific management goals that will help realize this overarching vision. The primary goal for the Plan is to ensure the provision of the highest possible quality water to the City of Forest Grove. Other goals include promoting sustainable timber harvests and ecological health. The chosen proposer must also demonstrate experience and capability to manage the City's watershed according to the current plan.
