Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1) Board Governance: Works with EOBB in order to fulfill its mission. Responsible for assisting EOBB in a manner that supports and guides the organization’s mission as defined by the members of EOBB. Responsible for communicating effectively with EOBB and providing, in a timely and accurate manner, all information necessary for EOBB to function properly and to make informed decisions. 2) Financial Performance and Viability: Assists with reporting and administration of the Border Fund. Responsible for regular submission to EOBB of financial statements and program reports accurately reflecting the financial condition of the Border Fund and performance of its programs. Make recommendations to EOBB for operating within the approved budget, ensuring maximum resource utilization, and maintenance of the organization’s programs. 3) Organization Mission and Strategy: Works with EOBB to ensure that the mission is fulfilled through programs, strategic planning and community outreach. Coordinate implementation of EOBB’s projects and programs. Coordinate strategic planning to ensure that the EOBB can successfully fulfill its mission into the future. Enhance EOBB’s image by being active and visible in the community and by working closely with other professional, civic, and private organizations. Coordinate and report annually, on or before December 31 to standing or interim committees related to economic development of the Legislative Assembly, EOBB’s reporting requirements as stated in ORS 284.781(8). 4) Organization Operations: Coordinate with the EOBB to ensure that the operations of the organization are appropriate. Responsible and effective administration of EOBB operations. Actual Job Responsibilities May Include: Report to and work closely with members of EOBB. Oversee and collaborate with EOBB contractors. Manage EOBB programs. Coordinate strategic planning and implementation. Oversee financial reporting and analysis. Serve as a spokesperson for the EOBB. Establish and maintain relationships with various organizations and utilize those relationships to strategically enhance EOBB’s mission and efficacy.
