5.1. Portland Community College (College) is soliciting proposals for Hazardous Materials Abatement on an as needed basis for projects on College properties, including campuses, centers, farms, and residences with work areas above and below ground, within the Portland Metropolitan area. 5.2. This may include both planned and urgent projects encompassing testing containment, encapsulation. decontamination, mitigation, removal, transportation, disposal, demolition, stabilization and associated services for asbestos-containing materials (ACM), lead or lead-based paint materials, mold, silica, polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB), mercury, or other hazardous materials as necessary to accommodate College projects and in compliance with the local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ). The selected Contractor(s) will receive a survey outlining hazardous materials for each project as they are assigned.
