Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Staff training in areas related to: Child nutritional needs and health. Special dietary needs for children with specific health and nutritional concerns. Incorporating food‐related activities into classrooms in collaboration with other departments in the agency. Food safety and sanitation. Any family, cultural, or ethnic preferences. 2. Parent training: On children's nutritional needs. Food preparation and nutritional skills for the families. Infant nutritional needs. 3. Meeting with staff: Action of plan meetings that involve children's nutritional needs. Support plan meetings with the agency staff including managers, educational staff, family services staff, and others. 4. In collaboration with other agency’s departments, provide support in the preparation of diet and nutritional curriculum. 5. Support the agency's partnership and relation with community services including WIC. 6. Support the agency Health Services Advisory Committee meeting. 7. Provide support for families and staff in preparing, reviewing, and training on the feeding plans for children with specific nutritional behaviors including children with ASD. 8. Knowledge of USDA/CACFP meal pattern requirements.
