Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor will assess current conditions and concepts to work with zoo staff to create a comprehensive zoo-wide system that allows visitors to easily navigate the zoo, plan their visit, and direct them to zoos animals, amenities, daily scheduled events and to easily exit the zoo. The new system should help visitors: Gain a sense of the zoos size and general location of major features whether those are specific animals, zoo services, the exit or facilities such as the Education Center Determine the best way to get to those features either the shortest distance or more interesting route Plan an entire day at the zoo Understand where they are at the zoo by clearly linking what they see on the Zoo Map and what they see around them
