Specifications include, but are not limited to: The consultant will provide training and technical assistance throughout Oregon for the purposes of improving the multidisciplinary response to child abuse and promoting national best practices for Children’s Advocacy Centers (CACs) and Child Abuse Multidisciplinary Intervention Teams (MDTs) in Oregon. The consultant will provide regular coordination between and among CACs throughout the state by hosting facilitated meetings of member CACs for the purposes of mentoring, networking, information sharing, and training. The consultant will maintain regular communication with Oregon’s Children’s Advocacy Centers in person and by telephone. The consultant will maintain a working knowledge of current best practices in child abuse intervention including CAC and MDT functioning through regular contact with regional and national partners including but not limited to the national regional service providers and the National Children’s Alliance.
