University requires a CNC machine that meets the following specifications: 1.1. 18,000 RPM or more, but not less than 18,000 RPM. 1.2. Must be able to accommodate multiple collet sizes of tool bits i.e. ½”, ¼” etc. 1.3. 208V 3-phase power or less. 1.1. Must include an Automatic Tool Changer (ATC). No minimum limit to quantity of ATC capacity. 1.2. Must include a vacuum pump. Pump may be single area pump or have capabilities of multi-area pump locations on bed. Proposer must include necessary air and power requirements of pump and include necessary space requirements 1.3. Machine must be able to connect to existing dust collection systems which includes (1) x 4-inch diameter flex tubing to our Dust Collection Unit with overall potential capacity of 5,500 CFMs. Proposer must include information about equipment’s CFM requirements. 1.4. Machine must be able to accommodate at least 4 ft x 8 ft of stock material. 1.5. Access into the Fabrication Lab is limited. All shipping crates must be able to fit within a set of double doors measuring 64” wide. 2. Preferred Goods/Specification. 2.1. Ability to accommodate multiple collet sizes of tool bits, i.e., ½”, ¼”, etc. 2.2. Compatibility with RhinoCAM software.
