This Project is for the installation and setup of a CAT C13 generator in the Douglas County Jail Facility located at 1036 SE Douglas Ave, Roseburg, Oregon. The generator will be the primary backup power for the west wing of the Justice Building. Work will involve site work and electrical, mechanical, and structural upgrades and additions. The general scope of the project includes: Removal of old generator Placement and installation of a New CAT C13 Generator Removal of a wall and counter Construction of wall and counter Electrical panel work as needed Installation of ATS SERVICES: The County intends to contract with the successful Proposer in two phases, with agreements and fee negotiations for each. For Phase I (Preconstruction Services), the successful Proposer generally will provide consultative services during the design phase of the Project. At or before the completion of the design phase, as may be required by the County, the County will request the successful Proposer to provide a Guaranteed Maximum Price (“GMP”) to act as CM/GC for Phase II (Construction Services) of the Project, for which the selected CM/GC will assume the risk of delivering the Project on schedule at or under the GMP. Services to performed by the selected CM/GC are set forth below: (a) Preconstruction Services: The CM/GC shall provide the Preconstruction Services identified in Article 3.1 of the proposed contract (attached as Attachment B). (b) Construction Services: If an Early Work Amendment or GMP Amendment is executed, the CM/GC shall provide the Construction Services identified in Article 3.2 of the proposed contract.
