Specifications include, but are not limited to: Task 1 – North Santiam Canyon Area Broadband Deployment 1. Assist the County with creating and deploying an action plan to build broadband fiber in the fire-affected North Santiam Canyon Communities. 2. Identify and communicate with local private broadband provider(s) in the area to assess potential projects for investment and work to implement projects with cost-sharing agreement. 3. Assist County staff with all required reporting and documentation from funding source. 4. Advise, assist, and guide the County in implementation of the adopted broadband strategic plan. Task 2 – Use Cases for Agribusinesses 1. Communicate with and learn from local farms and agribusinesses in the community a. Plan and participate in a design sprint with the NW Ag Innovation Hub b. Develop and distribute farm and agribusiness surveys to learn about community need for broadband fiber and technology to enhance their business 2. Identify and develop broadband fiber use cases for three selected farms or supply chain partners to demonstrate economic value of broadband infrastructure. The farms will be selected by the County based on mutual interest from the farm, County, or broadband provider.
