Contractor shall supply and deliver approximately 300 tons of premium grade Biomass Fuel Pellets (“Fuel”) in complete loads to an Agency designated area at RTC. Contractor shall package Fuel in super sacks with plastic covers and transport Fuel on pallets for ease of unloading at RTC. Agency personnel will be responsible for unloading the Fuel at the Agency designated area and transfer of the Fuel to the biomass boilers. Contractor shall schedule delivery of the first load upon receipt of the signed PO and complete delivery of all loads by November 14, 2025 unless Agency requires different delivery dates. Deliveries will be accepted at RTC Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 2:30 PM. Contractor shall provide documentation showing weight of each super sack. The Fuel must meet the following specifications. A. FUEL GRADE: Pellet Fuels Institute – Premium Grade; B. BULK DENSITY: 40.0 to 46.0 pounds per cubic foot; C. SIZE: a. Diameter from 0.23 to 0.285 inch; b. Length greater than 1.50 is less than or equal to 1.0 percent; D. PELLET DURABILITY INDEX: Greater than or equal to 96.5; E. FINES: Less than or equal to 0.5 percent by weight; F. ASH CONTENT: Less than or equal to 1.0 percent; G. MOISTURE CONTENT: Less than or equal to 8.0 percent; H. HEATING VALUE: 8,500 to 8,600 Btu per pound;; I. CHLORIDE CONTENT: Less than or equal to 300 parts per million (ppm); J. NITROGEN CONTENT: Less than or equal to 1,000 parts per million (ppm); K. SULFUR CONTENT: Less than or equal to 1,000 parts per million (ppm)
