Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Oregon Medical Board (The Board) needs the services of licensed, armed security personnel to attend Board meetings, Investigative Committee meetings, interviews, or any other Board-related activity at the request of the Executive Director, Chief Investigator or designee to provide on-site security and to screen persons attending the meetings. Security needs include two (2) or more licensed and armed security professionals at each of these meetings. Security personnel will work in a non-uniformed capacity and must present in professional business attire and with a highly professional demeanor when on site. The security personnel should possess the following qualifications: Prior law enforcement experience, preferably from a larger metropolitan area. Have had training with firearms that included scenario based training situations. Must be licensed and able to carry a concealed firearm in the state of Oregon. Experience in diffusing situations involving hostile, upset or angry people. Licensed by the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training.
