Painting / Sealing Scope: 1. Finish all interior and exterior surfaces exposed to view, unless fully factory-finished and unless otherwise indicated, including the following: a. Both sides and edges of plywood backboards for electrical and telecom equipment before installing equipment. b. Elevator pit ladders. c. Exposed surfaces of steel lintels and ledge angles. d. Mechanical and Electrical: i. In finished areas, paint all insulated and exposed pipes, conduit, boxes, insulated and exposed ducts, hangers, brackets, collars and supports, mechanical equipment, and electrical equipment, unless otherwise indicated. ii. Paint interior surfaces of air ducts and convector and baseboard heating cabinets that are visible through grilles and louvers with one coat of flat black paint to visible surfaces. Etc.
