Contractor will be responsible for the protection of all equipment, interior wall surfaces, floor coverings, and furniture. Any repairs, damages, or necessary replacement due to the Contractor’s work will be remunerated at the Contractor’s expense. 2.6 The Contractor is required to accomplish ADA Lift work consistent with safety requirements promulgated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). 2.7 When cleaning glass inside an elevator shaft, State elevator code requires that an authorized elevator maintenance Contractor be present to operate the elevator. This must be arranged in advance with the City’s Facilities division Contract administrator. The City will coordinate with both the elevator maintenance Contractor and the window washing Contractor. Fees charged by the elevator maintenance Contractor will be paid by the City, however any and all charges associated with damage or no-show by the window washing Contractor will be paid by the window washing Contractor.
