The Successful Proposer will engage with a steering committee and campus and community stakeholders to develop a campus plan based on the following goal: Create a long-term plan that utilizes the existing Downtown Campus area in an efficient manner, is cohesive with the surrounding community, and addresses near-term space and operational needs. Goals, Objectives and Core Services: • Engage with the steering committee and stakeholders to develop goals, objectives, and guiding principles for the Downtown Campus. • Establish consensus of the core services to be provided on the campus, evaluate space needs and key adjacencies, and identify obstacles and potential improvement to accessing those services. Case Studies and Design Framework: • Provide case studies of relevant civic campuses that have been revitalized or that were developed to be cohesive and well-connected with the surrounding community. • Develop a design framework with concepts to improve the campus’ identity as a potential civic district within Bend’s downtown core area and improve wayfinding across the campus.
