Specifications include, but are not limited to: The water tank shall be a new, latest design of the manufacturer's current standard construction. Though they are not specifically covered herein, all parts necessary to provide a complete and efficient water tank shall be furnished including all miscellaneous supporting components to comprise a comprehensive and operational system. Such parts shall conform to current engineering practices of the industry relative to design, strength, quality of materials, and workmanship. The installation of the water tank on a County-supplied truck will be the responsibility of the successful bidder. Each unit shall be complete when delivered with all accessories and equipment in place and ready for operation. No demonstrators will be considered. Delivery of the completed chassis, water tank, street flushing system and de-icing application equipment shall be made as described in this specification and unloading at the yard shall be the responsibility of the successful bidder. The successful bidder shall furnish and deliver two (2) operations, service and parts manuals covering all equipment with each unit supplied. Complete specifications and descriptive literature shall accompany each bid. If literature is not submitted with bid, vendor will have 48 hours following written notice to submit the literature. Failure to comply will render bid non-responsive.
