Project Overview This project includes two distinct Capital Improvement Projects (CIPs) combined into a single large-scale bid package, each with its own construction schedule and dedicated plan sets. Although construction for each schedule will occur separately (non-simultaneously), both will utilize a shared Special Provisions Specifications Book. Schedule A – CIP 4136: SW 22nd Street (Whistling Ct to Hall Blvd) & Glenn Drive Public Water and Sewer Improvements This project involves the installation of approximately 4,000 linear feet of zinc-coated ductile iron potable water pipe (wrapped in polyethylene), in sizes of 8”, 6”, and 4”. Thirteen waterline connection details are included in the scope, with potholing required as part of the bid for select areas of the alignment. Additionally, the project includes the replacement of two existing sewer cleanouts with new manhole structures. Located along a residential, high-traffic corridor, this project will require a comprehensive traffic control plan. Construction activities in certain areas will necessitate the use of flagging operations. Schedule B – CIP 4211: SW Hart Road Traffic Circle Public Waterline Improvements This portion of the project includes the installation of approximately 1,800 linear feet of zinc-coated ductile iron potable water pipe (poly wrapped), with pipe diameters of 12”, 8”, 6”, and 4”. The scope includes four waterline connection details. Pothole investigations have already been completed for the entire alignment. Similar to Scheule A, this project is located on a heavily traveled residential street and will require a robust traffic control plan, including flagging operations, to ensure public and worker safety during construction.
