Klamath County Public Works (KCPW) road improvement plan has identified Silver Lake Road to be in need of construction services. The portion of roadbed in need of service has settled creating large cracks that need to be trenched out by means of a mechanical wheel trencher. The county is seeking to hire a contractor capable of providing the equipment and operator to do so; The project area is located approximately fifty-five miles north of Klamath Falls on Silver Lake Road. All work will be completed on the asphalt pavement and under traffic control provided by Klamath County. Equipment may be staged at turnout locations along the roadway however these areas are unsecured. Any of the contractor equipment, supplies, or personal items that are stored on site are at the sole risk of the contractor.
