Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City does not guarantee any amount of work to be performed under this contract and reserves the right to maintain City vehicles when deemed necessary. Bids are to be based on all parts and labor necessary for repairs, including any diagnostics. All parts shall be new, unused, first line original or better meeting factory tolerance. Any factory rebuilt parts(s) furnished must be approved by the supervisor of the City department prior to installation. Unit Repair estimates shall be provided within 48 hours of the vehicle arrival at Seller location. Unit Repair Estimates must be provided to the appropriate location fleet service writer and shop supervisor. Repair shall start immediately once approval is given. The City of Tulsa is not responsible for incurring multiple computer diagnostic charges per repair. All invoices must include: 1. Bidder must include a breakdown of Shop supplies, costs, and maximum amount. 2. Bidder must include a breakdown of Miscellaneous items, costs, and maximum amount. 3. Bidder must breakdown the labor rate for each job for every repair and number of hours. 4. Additional repairs or charges must have appropriate approval and prior authorization from the fleet service writer and/or shop supervisor. 5. Bidder must follow industry standards for all repairs. 6. Each repair shall be warrantied to a minimum of twelve months to include parts and labor. 7. Engine overhaul shall include two year parts and labor warranty minimum. 8. City “Emergency Response Vehicles” must be given “High Priority” on all repairs. All repair estimates to be provided within 24 hours or less.
