Specifications include, but are not limited to: The District is seeking proposals to pilot the replacement of copiers and POD printers at one (1) elementary. If the solution and hardware are successful, the District would expand the project across the District. A.4.1.1. Project Objectives. A.4.1.1.1 Standardize on a single print management solution for all POD printers and copiers in all schools, including phasing out PaperCut. A.4.1.1.2 Standardize on a single hardware manufacturer for the purchase of all print/copier devices utilized under the print management program on a site-by-site basis. A.4.1.1.3 Replace aging printers and copiers at all school sites over the next three to four years. A.4.1.1.4 Dispose of existing obsolete or no longer needed equipment with assurances and certifications that the devices’ data has been sanitized. A.4.1.1.5 Maintain and/or reduce costs to the school sites for printing and copying. A.4.1.1.6 Implement a solution that provides schools with high quality service and timely delivery of copier and printer service and supplies. A.4.1.2. Outsourced Print Management. A.4.1.2.1 Not requested or desired. A.4.1.3. Pilot Program. A.4.1.3.1 Purchase one (1) new teacher workroom copier and one (1) office copier for the Pilot School. A.4.1.3.2 Office and teacher workroom copiers would be on a cost-per-copy program for maintenance, service and general supplies, e.g., toner and staples. A.4.1.3.3 Elementary Teacher Workroom Copier Minimum Requirements • Qty. 1 • Minimum 65-75 ppm B & W print & copy, color scanning. • Duplexing Automatic Document Feeder • External finish w/stapling: corner and double stapling. • Minimum two (2) 500 sheet each paper cassettes; minimum 2,000 sheet highcapacity cassette or paper deck.
